Shadow Puppeteer at Spillexpo, Level Up

SpillExpo 2013

This week we want to do a recap of SpillExpo.

Last weekend we traveled the 1,5 hours it takes to Lillestrøm to attend SpillExpo. We were to be part of the magnificent Stand Indie along other developers like: D-pad studio, Rain, Henchman & Goon, Megapop Games, Krillbite, KrisJet Game Design, Team DOS, Tinimations, SnowCastle Games, Moondrop, Blink Studios and Rock Pocket Games.

At this point we have to give a big thanks to Jo-Remi at D-pad for getting this thing together!

We worked hard on preparations, and the day before we left for SpillExpo we published a new gameplay trailer:

We had worked with Stiiigur Produksjon who’d made us awesome stand material:

Getting the indies in one place and letting us have space to show off all our games; well, there were a lot of people and a lot of fun to be had.

Some of these games have been released while others are still in development.

For us, it was an incredible thing to have so many people of different ages try our game. Both to experience when they understand the game and have tons of fun, but also when they get stuck and are having difficulties. That’s when we really know what needs more work!

We were also featured in VGTV’s show Level UP. Thanks, Rune and Karl!

Now we’re safely back home again, already looking forward to next year’s Expo. And again, a big thanks to everyone who contributed to making this happen: The SpillExpo organizers, NFI, Stiiigur Produksjon and the people at Stand Indie. Words can not describe how cool and awesome you are!
