This week is the Nordic Game Conference in Malmö, Sweden. NGC will always have a
special place in our hearts. We have been going every year since 2011, and always enjoy it
This year, however, it will be extra special as Shadow Puppeteer is nominated in the Nordic Game Awards for “Nordic Game of the Year”! This nominations means the WORLD to us, and we’re so happy to have been chosen among such great candidates.
This is our second post in a 2 part series about this year’s Game Developers Conference
and Game Connection in San Francisco. If you’re not familiar with the two events, we
recommed you read our previous blog post first.
We’re here with Klas and Marianne, the lucky duo who got to go to San Francisco to attend
GDC and Game Connection this year. Now that they’re back, and have had some time to
reflect they will share some of their wisdom.
Marianne and Klas went to San Francisco last week to attend GDC and Game Connection.
This week and next we will write all about their trip.
Read about our trip to San Francisco to attend the Game Developers conference. There
were cool developers, great fans and quite a lot of excitement as Shadow Puppeteer
won a Game Connection award for “Most Promising IP”!
We’ve had an amazing week!
Apart from the afterglow of winning the Director’s Choice Award at Casual Connect’s Indie Prize Europe, we received no less than four nominations for
Game Connection USA’s Development Awards:
- Excellence in Story & Storytelling
- Best Social
- Best Console
- Most Promising IP
We will be attending Gigacon this weekend with Shadow Puppeteer as part of Stand Indie, alongside our dear friends from Krillbite, Moondrop, D-Pad Studio, 4Bit Games, Team DOS and Tinimations. And introducing newcomers Colonthree Enterprises and Process games.
We’re very excited to be there. So please come by if you want to try, buy or just say hi.
